1. 1. Friendship
Between the Schools of Güllük and Leros
Correspondence started one day.
And since then in our hearts
a flame of great joy has flared up.
A corner of our school
Was dedicated to the school of Leros.
While our eyes gazed at the horizon
Waiting for our friends arrival.
When we heard you were not coming,
we felt sorrow deep in our hearts
And cried with disappointment.
When we received your letters again,
Our hearts blossomed
And a new longing took sorrows place.
A new hope has grown within us now
One day you ll come, we know.
Thus, our tabors and clarinets have began
To play the songs of friendship.
Surely, youll come one day.
And we will come to you.
And when we meet, how great our joy will be.

2. Friendship and brotherhood
Between Güllük and Leros
a bridge of friendship was built.
And for the travellers of friendship
A safe road now exists.
May our love never end,
May we walk hand in hand.
Come, let us run towards friendship.
The future of the Greek Turkish friendship we are.

3. Love
When we say Love, the substance
of life comes to my mind.
When the world overflows with love,
I feel an endless joy.
Our love leads to beauty.
It dissolves darkness before it appears.
Everything is shared through love.
People exist when they love.
Love is born with us, evil later appears.
Kindness and friendship smother anger,
In our life we see love as a school.
As long as man lives, he must love
To let friendship and justice embrace the world.
We make up the bridge to a better future.
May all the people join their hands, their souls and hearts.

6. Peace Love s first rule is to love,because with love life s first seed was sown. Every child of Güllük, loves our Lerian brother.

5. I want peace
I want peacein the blue skies, in the blue seas like a bird which flies free in the green countryside. In an independent world, full of hope, May all mankind live. Sharing each mouthful, one by one, in peace.
I want a world without wars and people to be brothers. Songs and loves to be one in our hearts. I want a world without hostility. We, who have thirsty for brotherhood and friendship, Invite you. Come, and let s run together to peace, to peace.
Come, children of the world, come close to us to engraft the world with friendship, brotherhood and peace. Our loves to blossom one by one Our hearts to bloom in the garden of the world.
Hey world! Hey people who thirst for peace! Come! We invite you to be close to us. . Go away hostility and war leave the world. We are the young blossoms of PEACE.
